Middleville Floor Coatings
Epoxy Flooring for Middleville Pole Barns and Garages
High Caliber builds Middleville pole-barn and garage floors with diamond-ground prep, full flake coverage, and a UV-stable wear surface.
A Middleville Pole Barn Floor We Can Point To
The finished gray flake floor above is a Middleville pole barn project, not a stock photo. It changed rough concrete into a sealed, consistent surface for a working outbuilding. We use the same build for a rural garage floor coating.
We diamond grind the slab, then install three layers: a hybrid epoxy/polyurea base coat, full flake broadcast to refusal, and a UV-stable polyaspartic floor coating on top. Epoxy bonds below while polyaspartic faces sunlight and wear above, an important split at a wide barn door.
Our local, family-owned and fully insured company is based at 11007 Chicago Dr Unit 24 in Zeeland, roughly a 40-minute drive from Middleville. The work is backed by a 5.0 Google rating across 136+ reviews.

Pole Barn Concrete Exposes Weak Preparation
Large rural slabs can have cracks, residue, or smooth areas that weaken a bond. Our concrete grinding service opens the surface mechanically, then cracks and pits are handled before coating begins.
Acid etching is never substituted for a physical profile. Diamond tooling lets the installer respond to changing concrete across a pole barn instead of treating every section as identical.
- Existing coating or residue is identified first
- Cracks and pits are addressed during preparation
- Diamond grinding precedes the hybrid base coat

Why Epoxy And Polyaspartic Have Separate Jobs
Calling the finished floor epoxy tells only part of the story. The hybrid epoxy/polyurea base bonds to prepared concrete, flake fills the wet base to refusal, and clear polyaspartic seals the broadcast as the exposed surface.
The stack is deliberate. Epoxy can yellow in sunlight, while material placed over unground concrete can release under hot tires. Our prepared base and UV-stable topcoat address both weaknesses.

Garages, Barns, And Concrete Outside The Door
Around the Thornapple River community, a detached garage may need the pole barn's flake build while exterior flatwork needs another answer. Our concrete driveway sealing service targets Michigan freeze-thaw and road-salt exposure instead of putting an interior system outdoors.
Similar rural floors continue north toward concrete coatings in Caledonia and west toward pole barn coatings in Wayland. Middleville's own proof remains the gray pole-barn floor shown here.

What Shapes A Middleville Floor Coating Quote
Pole-barn prices depend on floor area, slab condition, grinding, repairs, and detailed edges. Stem walls, stairs, or divided work zones can also change the labor.
Once we have walked the slab, you get a quote that is free, fixed, and broken out line by line. Middleville owners can compare the full preparation and three-layer build by calling (616) 777-7348.

Why Rural Middleville Slabs Need The Full System
A working outbuilding tests its floor at the doorway and down every traffic aisle.
Ready For Working Buildings
The polyaspartic surface protects the full flake layer through the traffic, tools, and equipment movement found inside a working outbuilding.
Built Around Michigan Winters
Snow, grit, and road salt arrive on tires and boots. A continuous coating is easier to clear than dusting bare concrete.
Stable At Open Doors
Plain epoxy can yellow in ultraviolet light. Our epoxy stays below a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat at the open door.
Traction Comes Standard
Anti-slip additive is included at no extra charge for the snowmelt and cleanup water that can cross a barn aisle.
How A Middleville Coating Gets Built
The standard six-step sequence starts with the slab and ends only after the polyaspartic topcoat receives its proper cure time.
1Grind & Prepare
We diamond-grind the concrete to a clean, porous profile so the coating bonds permanently.
2Repair & Clean
Cracks, pits, and spalls are filled and leveled, then industrial vacuums pull off every trace of dust.
3Hybrid Base Coat
A pigmented polyurea/epoxy blend is rolled and back-rolled into the prepped slab for full coverage.
4Broadcast the Flake
Your chosen flake blend is hand-broadcast to full refusal while the base is wet.
5Polyaspartic Topcoat
A UV-stable topcoat locks the system in — scratch resistant, chemical resistant, easy to clean.
6Final Walkthrough
We inspect every square foot with you and hand over a floor that's ready to live on for years.
Middleville Coating Questions
How much does epoxy flooring cost in Middleville, MI?
Price depends on floor area, concrete condition, repairs, edges, and stem walls. High Caliber inspects the Middleville slab and provides a free, fixed, itemized quote before work begins.
Can you coat an older or cracked pole barn floor?
Often, yes. The crew evaluates and diamond grinds the slab, then addresses cracks and pitting during preparation. Problem concrete is identified before the coating layers can hide it.
Is polyaspartic better than epoxy for a rural garage?
They serve different jobs. The hybrid epoxy/polyurea base bonds to prepared concrete, while the UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat handles sunlight and becomes the exposed wear layer.
Will a flake pole barn floor be slippery when wet?
Anti-slip additive goes into every topcoat at no extra charge. It adds grip for snowmelt, wet tires, and cleanup water inside a Middleville barn.
How long does a pole barn floor coating take to install?
Timing depends on floor size, repairs, site conditions, and cure windows. We do not rush those intervals, and the crew gives return-to-use timing for the specific project.

Google ReviewsWould highly recommend. No pressure sales, quality product, great communication and quality installation. I met Jeff at the home show. I was drawn into his booth by his very enthusiast kids. I got the immediate impression this was a family oriented business and that was reinforced by the conversation with both Jeff and his young son. These values drew me to this business. I signed up for a quote. Shortly after the show Jeff came to my home to present options and provide a quote. No pressure to buy, Jeff understood I needed to get thru tax season before I could be sure about my budget. Over the course of next few months Jeff was responsive to any questions I had and we got the job scheduled. Jeff provided a trailer in the quote to store contents of garage while job was being done, which was very helpful. When talking with others about the quote I learned my price was equal to or less than what neighbors had paid up to six years ago, so I felt this was good pricing. I had thought there would be a ton of dust and a big mess when grinding surface, but the machines had a vacuum attached, clean and efficient work. I was impressed that they coated steps and side walls as well as floor. No mess on drywall or driveway. Crew doing installation were great guys. They took time to fill me in on the process of installation, what to expect, how long for surface to cure and when I could empty trailer. Post install Jeff stopped out to grab trailer, filled me in on what to use and how to clean the floor. VERY happy with the whole process from sales to install to follow up. LOVE my new garage.
I can not express how awesome my garage floor looks. Your crew did a phenomenal job, we'll probably be the envy of the neighborhood now. Very polite, cleaned up the area, fast amazing job! My only complaint was the floor was going to look great so my wife said we had to clean out and paint all the walls and shelving, but it was worth it. Thank you again.
Wow! Jeff and Mike were amazing to partner with for my garage floor renovation! They did an amazing job but more importantly, they communicated directly with me thru texts, reminders, and in person! Jeff and his team left my garage and exterior area cleaner than when they arrived and gave clear instructions on follow up care needed for my new floor! I would highly recommend High Caliber Concrete Coatings anytime!
The floor looks awesome. What an improvement !!! The installers where also top notch. Communicated the plans and details clearly.
Jeff and his crew did an awesome job. Jeff was very prompt with his quote, his timeliness of service and his responses back to any questions I had. The closed trailer Jeff offers for use for garage contents during the work was such a great idea. It made my prep work and garage reload minimal. Jeff's workcrew was timely, hard working and very, very polite. Their clean up work was super! I did not have to do anything but reload my contents. I am beyond happy with the finished project and would recommend High Caliber for a successful experience!! I love that they are a local business and support their exceptional work ethic and results!
Jeff and his team did the most amazing job epoxy floor coating my 38 year old garage floor. Outstanding, professional, skilled, great communication. Highly recommended.
